License4J is designed to be easy to use and integrate in your Java application. Unlike other licensing libraries it has many licensing features defined and performs validation on required features when license file is used; also can be used to generate and validate cryptographically secure serial numbers.

License4J comes with License Manager and License Serial Number Manager GUI applications to generate and store software license files and cryptographically secure serial numbers.

You can download and test License4J, the only limitation is that created license files will have 10 days expiration feature set, and serial number will be with some fields disabled. You can buy and install a valid license at any time.

License4J can generate license files and serial numbers with secure cryptographic methods. License files includes features listed below and can be plain text or encrypted to hide content from customers. Serial numbers can be generated based on a customer name or company or both; or completely not based on anything.

License4J can generate cryptographically secure serial numbers with Elliptic Curve cryptography. Generated serial numbers are 55 characters long due to minimum cryptographic security requirements.

License Serial Number Manager GUI tool supports single or in bluk generation of serial numbers with following serial number file creation windows.

Serial numbers are grouped in 5 digits and separated with a "-" sign by default. However you have the option to choose another separator character or not to use one.

Serial numbers are generated from an internal string you define in your software and can be used in validation method later. Customer name or company or both can also be used in serial number generation then can be used in validation. Single or bulk serial number generation is supported in License Serial Number Manager tool and License4J library.
